May 2004 when eight Eastern European countries became members of the European Union started new period in history of migration.
Migrant workers have been coming over to the United Kingdom with hope of new, better life and broaden employment prospectus. Those perspectives have been very tempting for hundred of thousand of people who decided to come and live in the UK.
However, living in other country is not just about working and living. Coming here you become part of society and part of new culture.Lack of knowledge of English system, law and rights as well as without sufficient knowledge of language one may get lost in a new environment.
E-MAC [EasternEuropean Migrants Advice Committee] is a registered charity aiming to help migrants from Eastern European countries coming to England to solve their problems they face every day.
